Editor's note: Reb Zalman actually heard this for the first time in 1936, in Vienna, Austria. The Vizhnitzer Rebbe, Israel Hager of Vizhnitz (1860-1936) was walking down the street and his Hasidim were singing this melody. Later, in Antwerp, in the Vizhnitser Shtibel on Simhat Torah, he heard it again
