Editor's note: Reb Zalman first heard this niggun from his father, Shlomo Schachter. Of it, he says: My Papa used to sing that niggun. I liked it because I could almost see the band playing it. [Sings and gestures as if with cymbals] We used to sing it with a lot of harmony, that one. Dror Yikra is a poem by Dubush ibn Labrat fomr the Spanish Golden Age, but I suspect it is a Hungarian gypsy tune, one that Brahms didn't include in his Hungarian Dances
